We’re Prepared, You’re Protected

Riverview Park Residence values the safety and comfort of our residents, staff and community.

Riverview Park is dedicated to strict health & safety practices with continuous reviews and updates by an Infection Control Practitioner. Our continuous education, hygiene practices and work with community health networks are the foundation of our health and safety programs. Riverview Park Residence is a carpet free environment with antibacterial and antimicrobial fabrics on all seating for the safety of residents.

1

EDUCATION

Outbreaks are declared when 2 or more residents present the same cold or flu symptoms. Monthly training with staff and residents allows our community to be prepared and to promote preventive hygiene practice. Our approved Infection Control Manual and our continuous communication with Public Health promotes a proactive, adaptive philosophy to a healthy environment.

2

BUILDING SAFETY

Our dedication to resident safety can be seen throughout Riverview Park Residence. Individual heating and cooling units provide outside fresh air intake in residents’ rooms. Our spacious dining room allows us to practice social distancing during meals.

3

SAFE PRACTICES

Riverview Park Residence is committed to the best hygiene practices. There are visible and accessible hand sanitizing stations for residents, family and staff. High touch surfaces such as elevator buttons and furniture within common areas are continuously wiped down and disinfected throughout the day. Common areas are disinfected between meals and activities to maximize surface cleanliness.

The best way to keep people safe, is to follow the Department of Health’s social distancing guidelines. In order to do our part in following these guidelines, we are meeting in person by appointment only and with proof of vaccination. In addition to appointments we are happy to provide any information you may require or answer any questions through phone or email. We will do our part to assist our community in any way we can and we encourage everyone to do the same.
